CHRISTMAS FLOWER ARRANGING 11-12-2024
In collaboration with GROEI EN BLOEI ZEEUWS-VLAANDEREN, we are organizing Christmas flower arranging for children again this year.
What are we going to do?
There are already four Christmas pieces ready as an example in advance. Each child chooses the piece that he or she wants to copy or he/she comes up with something himself/herself. The pieces are worked out per group table under the guidance of an experienced Groei & Bloei workshop leader. Natural Christmas materials such as Christmas greenery, pine cones, pieces of wood, rose hips, hazelnuts and chestnuts are available for use.
It is not a competition because everyone makes the most, most beautiful Christmas flower arrangement!
There is free coffee for parents who come along, and there is something to drink and snack for the "kids".
For this activity you must register before 6-12-2024 to be able to participate. The registration form is at the bottom of this page.
Times and costs?
Wednesday 11 December from 14:15 (hall opens at 14:00). You can come later. We will stop at 16:45.
Location: Het Leeuwenkwartier (Leeuwenlaan 31, Terneuzen; at Oranjekwartier playground)
The costs are €4.00 per child. Adults can come along for free and will receive a cup of coffee or tea from us.
You pay on the day itself upon arrival.
Age and skills?
To participate, you must be at least 6 years old and no more than 14 years old. Some craft skills and interest in this subject are useful.
We are not a daycare center. This means that you remain responsible for your child(ren).

We are not a member?
We do not have members and are therefore accessible to everyone.
Do we have to register in advance?
Yes, for 6-12. There is a maximum number of participants (approx. 30). Once that number is reached, we will stop.
Advance registration is required because we have to purchase materials and arrange volunteers in advance.
I have two children, one of whom is older/younger trhe required, what now?
We will be flexible about this; they can both participate.
Can I buy ice cream, candy or coffee?
No, that is not possible on this day. There is free coffee or tea for adults/supervisors.
Can I drop off my child there and will you take care of them?
Older children (independent) yes. Younger children no. Children with a mental disability: no. You are and remain responsible for your children.
Can I stay with my child?
Yes, we would like to. We have coffee and tea (free) and you can help with the children if necessary.
